A valuation based on the car you are selling
The registration helps identify the vehicle. We then look at the mileage, exact version, service history and condition to assess it as a purchase. Tell us about useful equipment, recent work and any faults you already know about.
A free valuation is an initial offer based on your description. It is not an instant guaranteed purchase price: the final figure is confirmed after inspection and history checks. You are free to decline, and you do not need to buy another vehicle from us.
Why an asking price may differ from our offer
An advertised car price is a seller’s starting point, not proof of the price achieved. A dealer’s retail advert can also include preparation and after-sales commitments. Our offer is the amount we are prepared to pay to buy your vehicle directly.
For a useful comparison, look at similar cars with the same year, engine, transmission, trim and mileage. A different version, an import or a gap in the service history can change the comparison. Our valuation guide explains the main factors.
What happens after you submit the form?
You will see a confirmation message and reference after a successful submission. Check your spam or junk folder if you have not seen our reply. If the information is incomplete or the exact model needs clarification, we may ask a follow-up question before pricing it.
Offers are valid for three days. If you accept, we agree an inspection, confirm the purchase and arrange payment. Collection is free within Leinster after an agreed purchase. We can view the car at a convenient location in Dublin by appointment; viewings elsewhere may be possible by agreement.
Common questions
Is the valuation really free?
Yes. There is no charge to request a valuation and no obligation to accept an offer.
Do I need photographs or finance documents?
Photographs are optional, with space for up to six. You do not need finance agreement details or a settlement figure for the first valuation request.
Will you value a car without a current NCT?
Yes, if it fits our buying criteria. Choose the correct NCT status and describe known faults. NCT-failed cars are considered individually.
Can the price change after inspection?
Yes, if the vehicle, history or condition differs from the information used for the initial offer. We explain the final figure before you decide whether to sell.
